Intermediate Film Acting

Intermediate Film Acting is an ongoing training program that focuses on the initial stages of scene study, character development, and the exploration of the various acting approaches and techniques.  Unlike most programs, Intermediate Film Acting scene studies end in a camera session where the entire scene is filmed with a master and 2 close ups.  The footage is then edited and studied.  Each actor sees how their work is affected by the editing process.

Students are matched on experience levels and scenes are selected by the instructor to develop specific areas each actor requires.

The classroom atmosphere is closed and intimate.  Actors are free to explore character in a safe environment.  All students benefit from watching all scenes live and on the TV monitor simultaneously.

Mondays, 7pm - 10pm
Fridays, 2pm – 5pm
Pre-requisite: Graduation from Acting Essentials, or comparable film set experience.
Price: $170/month
Instructors: Jeff Skinner, Daina Leitold

Special: 25 % discount on the first month of "Intro to Film Acting" classes to all ACTRA members, On Screen Manitoba Members and  Winnipeg Film Group members
